Der Materialspezialist SCOOPER DEF

Der Materialspezialist Scooper DEF is a specialized DEF-class defensive blade designed for players who seek maximum control while combining classical defense with disruptive close-to-the-table play. Its enlarged blade head and unique Scooper construction provide a larger sweet spot, enhanced stability, and exceptional ball feedback during defensive rallies.

The blade excels in precise chopping, blocking, and passive returns while still offering enough power for controlled counter-attacks when opportunities arise. The increased dwell time helps players generate heavy spin, vary the pace of play, and maintain excellent control against powerful offensive shots. It is particularly effective when paired with long pips or anti-spin rubbers, allowing players to neutralize attacks and create difficult, low trajectories.

Despite its defensive nature, the blade retains sufficient stability for active forehand play, making it an excellent choice for modern defenders who like to mix defense with occasional attacking strokes.

Perfect for:

• classical and modern defensive play
• players using long pips or anti-spin rubbers
• chopping, blocking, and controlled returns
• disruptive close-to-the-table play
• counter-attacks from defensive positions
• advanced defensive and material-style players
