Normal viscosity is the thinnest of the three viscosity levels: high viscosity is the thickest, while medium viscosity is in between. A thicker viscosity does not make it easier to attach the rubber to the blade. Medium- and high-viscosity glues were developed for top-level players who claim that a thicker glue layer improves the playing characteristics of the racket. However, this is only an opinion and there is no proof to support it. Some players prefer a thicker glue layer, while others prefer a thinner one, so it is simply a matter of personal preference
