PiMPLEPARK Filius DEF is a premium German handcrafted five-ply all-wood table tennis blade developed for classical defenders and modern defensive all-round players. Designed as the slower successor to the Castro, it prioritizes maximum control, consistency, and precision. The slightly enlarged blade head improves defensive stability, while the lightweight construction of approximately 85 g ensures excellent maneuverability. The blade features a Kiri core, Limbaintermediate plies, and soft Spruce outer veneers that provide exceptional touch and outstanding spin potential.

The Filius DEF excels in classical chopping, long-distance defense, controlled blocking, and safe all-round play. When paired with long pips or anti-spin rubbers, it effectively absorbs the opponent’s power and returns heavy topspin with remarkable precision. Combined with inverted rubbers, especially thicker and harder versions, it produces heavy spin while maintaining phenomenal control.
